A poem titled Cry Baby saying "Teary-eyed girl, cry baby, you’ve had many reason to cry lately. Your good days can only be replayed faintly, as you brush your hair and attempt to look saintly. But the demons come and they want to play, they take your fears and mold them like clay, today in your bed is where you want to lay, but they tell you that’s not how you’ll spend your day. Sometimes the demons feel more like friends, as everything you love and hate blends, blending together like we’re at our wits ends, and now my tears are out of style just like the trends."
A poem tilted "One Last Time" saying "One last time, I would pour you a drink, take a moment to step back and think, about the good old days and how they used to be, and how you almost always knew the best way to love me. Sit down in that empty chair, as it takes me back to memories of everywhere, of every moment we’ve spent together, but the times have changed just like the weather. If I would pour you a cup of tea, maybe then you would hear my plea, of begging you to be with me now, but it was your time to take a bow. One last time, I would say your name, and you would tell me about your passion and your flame, I wish I could hear your melody, but now it’s a faded memory."
A poem tilted Of Floral Battle Gear saying "This body has always been preparing for battle. A wolf in delicate clothing. My battle gear disguised as lace and florals and pearls and ribbons. I come from generations of women with bruised knuckles. But women with bruised knuckles are always so focused on the targets, so focused on the fight, so overwhelmed on keeping their screams to a silence they forget all about their mellow voices which can slip out like honey from a jar on a warm summer evening. Most of my battle gear was stripped away from me, the rest of it, I gave away myself. I stand there nude but most importantly naked. Less Venetian goddess and more - me, - with empty hands but plenty of love to give to myself. I still don’t know the perfect way to speak, but I start slowly with love, and all of a sudden it doesn’t matter if anyone else agrees. My body and I are no longer enemies."
A poem titled The Garden saying "Flowers seem so dainty and fragile, but don’t mistaken their appearance for weakness. Flowers survive many storms and use those experiences to grow into something greater. Maybe that’s just like you and I, my friend? No matter how others view us, we do our best to survive. We survive until we can thrive. During the process of both surviving and thriving, we share the rainwater with each other just as we share the sunshine."
